Nick and Sarah

Meet Nick and Sarah. What do you get when you cross a beautiful southern girl and the most easy-going man on the mid-Atlantic? Nick and Sarah. I’m crazy about this couple. Like put-Sarah-in-my-pocket kind of crazy! I was supposed to meet with these guys several weeks ago in downtown Annapolis, but when I showed up there it was PACKED. I talking sardines here folks! Apparently we aren’t in the avid boaters club and didn’t know there was some massive boat show going on bringing in TONS of people. When I called with the news a plan B was made within seconds and they could not have been cooler about it. We met at a local park in Annapolis and spent an hour giggling. Yes, giggling! These two are so stinking adorable it’s not even funny. I could have said “Nick, run around as fast as you can and then when I say stop just jump up and down really hard.” and if Sarah had even smiled at the idea he would have just taken off in a sprint until it was time to jump! They are just that crazy about each other. I’ll hush now y’all so you can see what I’m talking about!

Alright Nick, sandy toes worth it? I think yes!

Did I forget to mention that Nick has the most amazing dimples ever?!?!

Since I was already going to be in downtown Annapolis doing another couple’s engagement session on Sunday (hang on Amanda and Jim fans, they’re coming soon!) Sarah and Nick drove down to do a mini-session without the boat show crowd! See, they are totally cool.

Sarah asked if I would do a heart picture to match one they have of them doing their junior year (?) of high school. So cute!

Sarah I can’t wait to meet with you again next Spring, and Nick I can hardly wait until September!

David and Mia – the wedding.

Introducing Mr. and Mrs. David! I’ve been crazy about this couple since their engagement session at Loch Raven. Remember that one? I knew Mia was going to make a gorgeous bride with that gigantic smile, and she did not disappoint! She and David are two of the nicest, sweetest people I’ve had the pleasure of working with.  Once I spent the evening with their family and friends I realized that they were surrounded by nice, sweet people! All of the parents, grandparents, aunts, cousins, siblings, kids and friends were so much fun and were obviously crazy about David and Mia. Plus, apparently October is the month to be married in Maryland! All of the decor for this wedding was Autumn-based, which I am totally in love with. Mia’s bouquet was a beautiful, the cake was adorable, and the guests were duking it out over the gorgeous centerpieces!  I’ll hush now so you can see for yourself!

Below: During David and Mia’s first dance their son Cam decided to show off his own moves with Taylor, the flower girl! It was HILARIOUS!!

Below is the new family! Don’t you want to get to know these guys?! Look how cute those kids are!!

David and Mia, thank you for asking me to be a part of your beautiful day! I wish you all the very, very best!!

Mary.

Meet Mary. This lovely, little mommy-to-be and I have been friends for the better part of 6 years now and have lived on both sides of this great country, remarkably, at the same time! I say remarkably because she, her husband Jon, and my husband were all active duty military and really that means you can be anywhere. We were just fortunate to always be close! Now Mary has been on the civilian side of things for a few months and is preparing for baby boy U. I can’t wait to see her and Jon as parents!! They are such a fun, sweet couple and baby U is going to be very lucky. Even if they move him off to some compound in the woods one day… :) We’re going to miss them next year when they leave for Germany, but hopefully we’ll be able to visit soon. I’ll be quiet now and get on with the main event. Everyone, meet Mary.

Below: He’s a tree hugger from an early age! This one’s for you Jon!

How great are her eyes?! I can’t believe I haven’t noticed that before. Mary pregnancy agrees with you!

When I was doing Hailey and George’s wedding last weekend Hailey said, “Here you can take my shoes. I know you have a thing for feet!” That is completely true, and apparently I have a thing for baby bellies too! I really couldn’t believe how many shot like this are in Mary’s session!!

It is a dang cute belly though! Mary and Jon, we love you guys and can’t wait to meet your precious son.

Logan

Meet Logan. I met this adorable, little tween four years ago when her mother and I started working together. Fast forward 4 years and you get a STUNNING 16-year-old with a great big smile and a bubbly, contagious laugh!  I haven’t gotten to see my friend or ‘our’ kids in three years (which is crazy!) so when I got the chance to fly to Arizona and see them and introduce them to my two-year old (also crazy!) I jumped on it and brought my camera to snag some pictures of all four of the kids. Unfortunately, I only brought one of my cameras and it met its demise on the second day :( Cross your fingers my friends at Nikon can work their magic!!! But like I was saying, I love this family and have enjoyed every second of the last four years we’ve had together even though there has been a country or an ocean in between us!! I miss them terribly and hope we get to see each other again very, very soon. I could really go on and on about them so I’ll be quiet and show off ‘my’ oldest. My dear, sweet Logan.

See. STUNNING! Logan Marie, you are growing up waaaay too fast.

Evy

Meet Evy. This is one happy baby! She had no problem being moved and bunched all around. Until she got hungry! Then she let us know it was time for a break! After a quick bottle though she was back to being an angel. I had such a good time getting to meet her and hang out with her mom and big sister! There are actually pictures of her sister, Gracie, all over my site. She is quite the baby model. Looks like its going to run in the family! So without further ado, here is Ev.

Selah

Meet Selah. This beauty just turned 2 weeks! I couldn’t believe how alert and adorable she was. And TINY! I forget so easily how tiny we all start off as. Her mom, Amy, and I have been ‘passerby friends’ meaning when I pass her by we say hello (insert cheesy laugh here) so it was great to spend some real time getting to know each other a little better while we positioned and repositioned sweet Selah. I had a great time and hope they did too. I’ll hush now so you can see how adorable this baby is!

Below may be may favorite.

The G Family

Meet Jonathan, Amanda, and Cale. Do you have one of those friends from high school that make you love to look back and remember the DUMB stuff you did all the time? Jonathan is that friend of mine. We and a group of crazy friends spent much of the last two years of high school hanging out and laughing through any class or free time we had together. It is amazing to me that he’s now a husband to a beautiful, talented wife and father to an adorable little boy! I am so thankful for the time we had back at RHS and am even more thankful that we’ve been able to keep up some form of communication over the years. Here is a little bit from the session we did in Haltom City, Texas over the time I was there visiting family.

Take some time to check out Amanda over on her website too! You won’t be disappointed!
