2011 recap

Wow! This is 2011 shrunk down to 60 images. That was NOT an easy task!! Thank you, all of you, for making this such a great year! I was thrilled to be a part of each of your lives and look forward to working with you in 2012 :D

This is going to be the last post on this blog for a while, because we are going under construction and working on a beautiful new place for all of your gorgeous faces! I am SO excited about this. I can’t wait to show you guys what I’m working on and for you to see yourselves on it for years to come. I think you will love it as much as I do!! Until then make sure to check out any recent sessions and specials on my Facebook page. There are some GREAT things coming up and I can’t wait to share them with you!!!

Meet the Geris family. Oh. My. Word. I adore this family. If you have had a wedding with me, worked with me at Weecycle, or had a weekday session with me it is highly likely that it was only done with help from this sweet friend. Becca is always willing to take Henry (my monster) in when I need a last minute sitter, and does it with a great, big smile! She and her family are so very dear to us, and it makes my heart so happy to share her beautiful family with you! And soon we’ll be adding one more to the mix!! :D

Meet the Verderys. I loved this session! This was such an easy, sweet family to work with and I was thrilled to do it. I can’t wait to meet their 3rd baby! I love that they are keeping the gender a surprise too. I am positive I couldn’t do that so I give major props to Jen and Jesse!! They already have two great little boys so they’re perfectly content with another great little boy, or an adorable baby girl. Hopefully you’ll stick around and see the outcome in 2012 :D  For now, take a look at this super sweet family!

Meet Eli. This ADORABLE, little piece of smiley goodness just turned one! I can’t recall a time I’ve ever really heard him fuss or whine, or even not smile for that matter!! He is such a sweet heart and you could just squeeze him to pieces. Look at this great grin for yourself :D

The Dickenson Family {family photography – ft. meade, maryland}

Meet the Dickensons. Oh how I love this sweet family! My son is eager to steal their youngest and have her as his sister. That is not a joke! Though I wouldn’t wish it on people, we were able to share deployment woes and single parenting fun over the summer while both of our husbands were gone, and it meant the world to me. This family is precious to us and I am over-joyed to share these photos with you!

This week’s challenge over on iheartfaces.com is about little ones. I LOVE this photo, and I LOVE this family so it seemed like a no brainer :D This is sweet Evelynn. She and her sister are very literally gifts from God, and we love having them in our family!!

Meet the Bennetts. This is a great family we met over a year ago at church. When they asked me to meet with them and take Cece’s pictures I was so excited! She is such a doll. She was pretty serious for me through our session, but even serious she’s one cute baby!
